Cathy was born and raised in Clifton. After high school, she worked for twenty-five years in the laboratory of St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic. Listening excitedly to medical jargon day after day, a career in medicine seemed imminent. However, God had other plans.
In 1986, she answered the call to become a catechist. One simple “yes” began her thirty-five year journey in Religious Education. Beginning in 1995, Cathy embarked on her academic career at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. She received a certificate in Pastoral Ministry, followed by a BA and MA in Theology. Cathy’s studies continued at Fordham University where she earned a PhD in Religious Education. On the fun side, she received a certificate from The Protocol School of Convent Station.
Cathy serves the families of St. Aloysius as the Director of Religious Education.
